Mustard Sandwich House

A sandwich may be a simple food to make but at Mustard Sandwich House, they bring a whole new definition to sandwiches.
Located at Jalan Chung Thye Phin nearby Ibis Style Hotel, the Mustard Sandwich House offers gourmet sandwiches as well as delectable desserts.

The cafe's zen interior gives out a calm feeling the moment you step in and take a seat but at the same time illuminates the atmosphere with the vibrant, warm and welcoming color of the walls which matches perfectly with the cafe's name: mustard yellow.

The cafe has two sections; the front section with the average-simple-cafe setup and the more relaxing and "hidden" back section which is perfect for
customers seeking for more privacy. (You wouldn't notice the back section unless you're on your way to the toilet.)

The Mustard Sandwich House also serves warm comfort food apart from sandwiches during the morning, suitable for those who enjoy a nice breakfast to kick start their day.

Among the various sandwiches available in the menu, the Awesome Pig (RM15.90) which is one of their signature sandwiches, is simple yet delightful, consisting of grilled slices of succulent pork bacon served in a toasted charcoal bread and accompanied with ketchup and mustard sauce. The contents for this sandwich are harmoniously compatible with one another which gives this "masterpiece" a kick and makes it really scrumptious.

Another one of the sandwiches, the Cowboy Hotpants (RM15.90), made by slabs of roasted pork ham garnished with sweet caramelized onions and mustard sauce, between a toasted wholemeal bread is a real treat. However this sandwich depends entirely on the customers' personal palate (some might find this sandwich a little plain) but it is definitely a must-try for those who enjoy the similar taste of the classic New York Hot Dog.

All the sandwiches are served with a side of taco chips and a generous helping of refreshing vinaigrette salad. Add-ons for the sandwiches such as smoked ham, smoked duck and even extra cheese are also available for only a mere price ranging from RM1 to RM2 each.

The creme brûlée; creamy and smooth, topped with a grape is sure to tickle your taste buds. Apart from this, The Mustard House also serves a variety of other desserts and cakes that allows customers to wrap up their meals in a really satisfying way.

The service provided by the cafe staff is above average and the food and beverages are of high quality and very satisfying. The overall cleanliness of the cafe is great, giving customers a comfortable dining experience. Although the food are a little pricey, the cafe will definitely have customers coming back for more.
